Students from Team 624 performed at the FIRST Robotics demonstration at the Rockwell Automation Fair on Nov. 13, 2013 held at the George R. Brown Convention Center in Houston. Students showcased the robot, Thor, on an Ultimate Ascent field, answering questions from many attendees and meeting representatives from FIRST Robotics’ home office and Rockwell Automation personnel from across the United States. Even FISRT President Don Bossi took a turn at driving Thor around the field. Visitors were impressed with the students and were certainly entertained by the robots on the field. Teams 1477 Texas Torque, 3103 Iron Plaid, and 3847 Spectrum were also part of the demo that day.
