Yesterday FIRST in Texas (FiT) held their District Awards Winners Presentation. We congratulate and celebrate Team 624’s Kyna McGill for being recognized as a FIRST in Texas District Championship Deans List Award Finalist. As a Finalist, Kyna will now advance to the FIRST World Championship Virtual Showcase this Saturday, May 2,  to compete against Dean’s List Finalists from across the globe for the award of 2020 Dean’s list Winner (10 Winners will be chosen).

We want to recognize Team 624 Student Daniel Yang for being  a Nominee in the FiT Deans List Competition and Team 624 Mentor Mr David Edelson for being a nominee in the FiT Woodie Flowers Competition.

Also, we want to note that a Student Alumni of Team 624, Mr Andy Lynch, currently a mentor with the Discobots (Lamar High School) won the FiT Woodie Flowers Finalist Award! It is great to see those who have been part of Team 624 taking FIRST to the next level.
