While most kids trick-or-treat for candy on Halloween night, Team 624 trick-or-treats for canned goods for the needy. Clad in team t-shirts, with CRyptonite’s signature fluorescent green hair, 34 members of Team 624 went door-to-door trick-or-treating for the Katy Christian Ministries Food Pantry. This annual Halloween food drive is part of Team CRyptonite’s dedication to community service, which is promoted by the international FIRST organization. Because of the generosity of Cinco Ranch residents, Team 624 Student President Fraser Head along with team member Paul Liu delivered a mini-van full of canned goods and other non-perishable food items to the Katy Christian Ministries Food Pantry the next afternoon.
