Two weeks ago, CRyptonite competed at the 5th annual Texas Robot Roundup, an offseason event hosted by Team 2158 AusTin Cans designed to put a spin on Recycle Rush.With a good run through qualifications, we emerged as the second seed, only a few points behind Team 118: Robonauts. We ended up being picked by Team 118 and were shortly joined by Team 457: Grease Monkeys from San Antonio. Even though we were all sporting new drive teams, our alliance hit the ground running in the quarterfinals and did not stop to look back. After two hard fought finals matches against the second seed alliance, composed of Team 1296: Full Metal Jackets, Team 3310: Black Hawk Robotics and Team 3735: Klein Bots, our alliance emerged victorious, winning us our 4th Texas Robot Roundup in a row.Thanks to everyone who makes this event possible!
