The first Katy ISD wide robotics team demonstration was held Saturday October 18th at Katy Mills Mall. All Five KISD teams were there – Morton Ranch, Seven Lakes, Taylor, Tompkins, and Cinco Ranch. Special recognition to the 15 students from CRyptonite who worked with the other teams to demonstrate the robots, set up button making for the younger ones in the audience, and most importantly, spread the word about Katy ISD Robotics with the crowd that gathered. Thanks extended to Frank Lombard of the Katy Area Economic Development Council and Don Massey of Katy Mills Mall for putting this demonstration in motion.
