FRC Team 624 Cryptonite represented the FIRST organization at the Meineke Car Care Texas Bowl on December 28. During TexFest, the students were able to discuss how FIRST robotics makes a real and positive impact on their high school to college path and demonstrate the results with our Rebound Rumble robot. Team 624, along with Houston ISD Team 57, and Saint Agnes-Strake Jesuit Team 3847 discussed FRC principles, goals and results with Texas Tech and Minnesota football fans. The robots’ basket shooting demonstrations were a big hit, drawing a large, interested crowd.This event was sponsored by ExxonMobil in support of STEM education.
