On Wednesday, May 28, several members from Team 624 attended the groundbreaking for Katy ISD’s Center for Imagination and Innovation, a facility designed to support engineering and technology by providing project space for hands on engineering, science, and technology applications to the nearly 70,000 students of Katy ISD. As part of this, the building will serve as not only CRyptonite’s build site, but also the build site for other FRC teams within Katy ISD. Due to Katy ISD’s generous support in funding this center, new Katy teams will be competing in the 2015 FRC season.
